COME SEE A MAN

I would like to share with you what I know about this MAN NAMED JESUS… Come see a Man–not come see doctrine, not come see principles–but come see a Man. I have nothing to offer you except: come see this Man; come know this Man… Lay hold of this One who lives IN you, for KNOWING HIM is what releases His power in you… When you have the Son, you have everything.

HIS UNSEARCHABLE RICHES

It is amazing that we live most of our lives not really knowing Jesus, not really understanding what His life brings to us… If I were to tell you today that heaven is not my goal, would you think I was apostate? Heaven is NOT my goal any more. Church is not my goal. JESUS IS MY GOAL: knowing Him, pursuing Him, grasping Him. How can we read Scripture and not see Him on every page? How is it that we find method and reasoning and not see this Man? The whole Bible has been written about A MAN WHO IS EVERYTHING.

Knowing Christ

We must begin to know Christ. He lays hold of us, and apprehends us, and then the rest of our lives we spend apprehending what we have been apprehended by. So the rest of your life you will spend apprehending the One who apprehended you. I want to tell you you are on an amazing journey!

Knowing Christ as a Leader

I always like to invite people to come to know this Man, Christ Jesus, because wherever we go in the world, we find teaching and preaching which says “follow this method” or “follow this rule.” What I want to do is show you a Man, because if you just follow rules, I promise you, you are going to get stuck in life. You are going to find a place where your rules do not apply and your methods do not work. I want you to know this Man who will always be with you, who will never leave you nor forsake you.
