The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV).

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in him.’ The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord” (Lamentations 3:22-26 ESV).

How could anyone be so full of love that through Him is provided unceasing mercies that are new every morning we wake up? Our God is the only One! He alone is this provision! Therefore, in Him, each one of us should hope in Him continually! Let Him become your portion and hope and let us take seriously the ministry of reconciliation so that everyone has an opportunity to know and experience the God of fathomless love and mercy! Jesus Christ is the means and object of this fathomless and unfailing love! The scriptures, being God breathed, have brought us the awareness of God through Jesus His Son! Jesus is our only way to God and God’s only way to us! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” is God’s lifeline to the world and certainly to us (John 3:16). It is through Jesus that eternal life has its entrance into the human heart, thus bringing God’s attributes to us who believe! Endless love, fathomless mercy and grace are now ours through Christ Jesus–what a lifeline! Let us therefore, live this amazing life consciously, being fully aware of the work of God, not only around us but in us, for us, and to God Himself! Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out (Romans 11:33)!

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you” (Jeremiah 31:3). The comfort and reliability of the scriptures can never be broken!
