Dear Fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

For many years I have greatly rejoiced in this season. It is during spring time that we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! How amazing of God, that Jesus would die and be resurrected as the firstfruits from the dead during our spring when everything is bustling with new life! The resurrection is incontrovertible proof of “New Life,” everlasting life, life that can never be destroyed, life over which death has lost its dominion forever! And this is from God through Jesus Christ!

In Luke 1:46-49, “Mary said, my soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. For He hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For He that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is His name.” What an astounding revelation and proclamation from the Holy Spirit through the Virgin Mary! Let us exult in God our Savior like Mary, as she magnifies and rejoices in both soul and spirit for the great things He has done! 

Let us never again fall into the commercial trap or trivialize the resurrection of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, by forgetting that the Son of God died a death that He did not deserve! He did it for us. Let us go forth in His power and change the world!
